Today was the official release date for mainstream digital distribution. CDBaby and iTunes both have it, although CDBaby won't go public until tomorrow. iTunes has it, though. They've mistakenly categorized me in the "singer/songwriter" category, so if you search my name or the album title with the "blues" filter in place, it won't come up. That little, ahem, issue, will be solved by and by.

I'll have actual CDs in hand in a few days. I'll probably sell them myself via this website (using PayPal as payment) in addition to letting CDBaby sell them.

Adam, you posted about altering the liner notes pdf file. Is there a link to download the amended version for those of us who bought the album with the old version?

Thanks

a question, adam: does it matter to you, in terms of convenience or how much of the price you get to keep, where people buy it from? all things considered, i'd just as soon you make as much from my purchase as possible. cdbaby and apple can take care of themselves.

@garry: Thanks for asking that good question. Well, I make more money when you buy it direct from me via Tradebit. But purchases on the other sites get reported to Soundscan, whereas I don't believe Tradebit purchases get reported. I think it will all even out in the end.

@verylong: Yes, I keep meaning to upload the updated liner notes to tradebit and offering a free link. I'll do that soon.

Actually, there's one thing that folks who've purchased the album from me, or iTunes, or whomever, can do that would really help me: contribute a review or a "5 starz!!!" evaluation to those sites. I'd greatly appreciate that.

You bet your bippy I'll have CDs at HCH 2011. I will also have CDs of the forthcoming Satan and Adam album. I'm 100% determined to release that by then.
