What is a valved [tube] amp?

It's got little capped valve holes on the bottom of the chassis to open up and drain the beer if the guitar player knocks over your drink.
(actually, valve is the British term for vacuum tube)

European's call tubes valves. A tube and/or a transistor is like valve for electrons. That's the deal!

Naaaa! You guys don't know what your talkin' about! It's the beer holes...and I'd look into the 2x10 optional ice cube tray at the same time to keep your drink cold under the hot stage lights.
(just pullin' your leg...;)
