Hanging out at home yesterday, phone rings...it's Paul Oscher calling me to ask if I will come over and give a listen to his latest mixes of tracks he will release soon, on his new CD to be titled, "Bet on the Blues"
I am honored to have Paul as a friend, and honored that he digs my music, my Blues style. To have him ask My opinion of his music is an amazing honor.
So, I went over to his place, we sat in his car listening...
Incredible harmonica tone and style on Diatonic and on Chromatic. Great lyrics and vocals. Innovative Modern Blues from an authentic, direct link to Muddy Waters and the Chicago Blues scene.
Deep Blues, with some Gospel and Americana on this yet to be released CD... the multi-instrumentalist delivers the Real Deal goods on Harmonica, Guitar, Piano and Vocals.
This is going to be another multi-award winner for Mr. Oscher, without a doubt.
If you are seeking something Real, something to aspire to, it'll be out in a couple months; with no Over blows or a million rapidly played notes. Just Deep Tone and Soulful Blues, from a class act, a true Living Legend, Paul Oscher.

I've known Paul for many years and he sure is the real deal. He's got some unreal stories about many of the old blues musicians and a number of them are on his website http;//www.pauloscher.com.
