Just walked by a store front church.
The groove was so cool and that tambourine
was so nice.
There was another church around the corner and one day
they were playing the groove to a blues march.
In 1967 I ventured to take walk into the neighborhood
up by Temple University. In a few block it was like
walking into another country. The singin' and testifyin'
was all around and the tambourine was driving the devil out.
