Wow! Thanks for that one Walter, had not seen it before.
Blues Royalty! Interesting how they all sang a chorus or two. No shrinking violets there. Even the dancers at the end were very cool.

actually the dancers were kind of cool, but also it was really sort of strange.. like the european tv production crew watched american bandstand and tried to meld it with "american folk blues music" with real black people in an american "club"

the dynamics of having that many on stage playing at the same time, yet each of them able to cut through the mix with so few microphones around, or the mics so far away is pretty amazing. there was some very good sound engineering there probably, but they all knew how to be heard yet not step on top of what else was going on.. even sonny did not do his usual number like he does to brownie, but that could have been cut out by turning helens mic down at the right times. brownie got the short end of the stick on this one.. his guitar was not in the mix and he did not get the vocal, but all else was pretty darn amazing
