I've made a small but important revision to the liner notes for Kick and Stomp, and I'll be substituting the revised version in the zip files sold at Tradebit and in the hard-copy CDs, when I get them made.
The revision concerns Brandon's key role in helping me discover my future as a one man band. I meant for my liner notes to sing his praises, but I believe that the language I chose was less than optimal. Here's the the new (i.e., revised) paragraph in question. I'm talking about my initial response to a small (three-inch square) thump block that he sent me as a gift.
"The sound wasn’t optimal. It was a more of a trebly clack than a bassy thump. But the moment I began blowing harp as I stomped on the thing was the moment of my birth as a one-man band, and I owe Brandon huge thanks for that. The synergy between rhythm and harp was immediate, noticeable, and galvanizing. It was as though something I’d been missing all these years had suddenly been provided."
Our journeys as musicians are crucially shaped by our fellow musicians. Sometimes it's obvious, in the moment, that a "shaping moment" has happened; sometimes it's obvious only in retrospect. Brandon's gift transformed my musical life almost immediately, and I'm delighted that Kick and Stomp gives me a chance to acknowledge that.

Thank you Mr. Gussow for mentioning me in your liner notes. And also, you have been the crucial backbone to my playing. I'm glad that the stomp box worked out, lol.

Will the revised pdf be available as a separate (free) download for those of us who have already purchased the album? it would be nice to have the 'offical' copy.

Adam, Really happy for you with your new album out. Sounds great. I like MP3s okay but I want to buy a hard copy on CD.
