I was wondering if anyone on here would be interested in trading/swapping mics... I have an astatic shell (basically I took a new hohner blues blaster shell) and put a vintage CERAMIC MC-127 element in it. The element was hand picked by RON SUNSHINE in New York (check him out on EBAY - he does good work with mics and elements)... Oh yeah, it has a volume control...
I am interested in:
bullet with MC-151 element (preferably w/ volume pot)
For whatever reason my boutique amp likes MC-151 elements and nothing else! I have just decided that even though crystal elements can die - I need a backup mic with a MC-151...

Does the shell still have an xlr connector? I have a flat black, mint blues blaster with a 151 from the early 90's (xlr&volume control with a real 151...not the crappy newer ones). I might be able to work something out with you.
