I must say that if there were a perfect participant at SPAH who made it worthwhile for harmonica players to travel the distance to attend, it would be Brendan Power. Not only is he a great player to listen to, but he's one of the nicest guys you could ever meet, and always ready to jam with anyone and everyone. He does some incredible looping and plays with some funky effects too. There's already a post here about the Power Bender, but what an awesome idea! I had a blast jamming with him, and his playing really challenged me to work harder this next year on playing those fast, melodic patterns. I was digging the red pants and the cool hat too!

Yeah Brendan is a really cool and friendly guy. Had a really nice time jammin with him, and he was the last with whom I was jammin at SPAH, Sunday night in Joke Joint, I was pretty tired and sleepy but still we made some good stuff together. Lookin forward to meet him again sometime!

I'm another member of the Brendan Power fan club. He's a fabulous, creative harp player and a heck of a nice guy.
