Thanks to Adam in particular. I assume that developing this forum was a business decision that would at least break even. I have no clue as to how it has served Adam but I can testify as to how it has served me. I've studied blues history and collected the artifacts since high school. 78 records and amps (lots). I'll turn 50 soon and I've been dedicated to harmonica since I was 17.
I live way out in the middle of nowhere and my correspondece with experienced players has been minimal. MBH has been like a boat off the island. The conversations, techniques and directions have been invaluable. A prime example is the fact that I never worked up Cissy Strut. Unforgiveable. It took 10 minutes to pretty much nail it but I had never pursued it. Now I'm working on a 12th position break. That'll take a while because my 12th position skills are close to zero. But, with what I finally have access to, it can actually happen!
Thanks.

Hear, hear! Thanks, Adam, for selflessly setting up and maintaining a community where we can discuss and grow together in our pursuit of mastery of this funny-looking little instrument.

Oh, and thanks also for creating a venue where I might find some occasional drama and teeth-gnashing without having to go to my mother-in-laws' house. ;-)

Yes. Thanks Kudzurunner for being so inspirational! Whenever someone asks me how I learned to play harmonica, my answer is always the same: Adam Gussow.
