Given all the water that's flowed under the bridge in the past few months, I was surprised this evening to sign on to MySpace for the first time in a while and discover that Jason's page is still just like old times:

I am certainly hoping Jason is doing well and will be back to performing when it is best for him. I was reading an interview with John Gindick, and he said he did not like playing lots of notes, but that Jason plays with so much feeling it makes him one of his favorites. I agree with that.

I was looking forward to seeing him play the White Mountain Boogie and Blues festival this weekend, August 20-22, in New Hampshire, but he's off the bill. Looks like he was replaced with John Nemeth, who, thanks to this forum, I found out was a bad ass harp player too.

I'm surely hoping he makes the Blues Festival in Columbia, SC scheduled for early October.
