the mention of peter green in the forum got me in the mood to pull out my fleetwood mac in chicago cd-this cd is unusual in that they left the tape rolling where you could hear all the dialogue between takes which also made it quite amusing especially shakey horton when he took lead-he was his usual brilliant self but at times was very out of sync with the band-he asked take it from the top? and immediately started blowin away and seemed to piss the other band members off-willie dixon asked him"who gave you the cue to cut off?"-makes me wonder about shakeys state of mind during the recordings and wonder if he took a nip or two before the recording

I got to know Walter during the 70's when he used to play Boston quite a lot back then and he was a very heavy drinker and sometimes you had to watch out for that if he was really hammered, so it is a possibility.

Willie Dixon in many interviews often said he felt BW was the best but you couldn't always get it out of him.
