Question for customizers. I know two ways of full length slot embossing. 1) You have to rotate reed off the slot and emboss the part of the slot which is closer to the rivet. 2) You have to work with small screwdriver and push the reedplate copper toward the reed. It's really easy to damage the reed.
Do you make full lenght slot embossing? Which way do you prefer? ---------- Excuse my bad English. Click on my photo or my username for my music.

I use #2. And I do that to german silver reedplates only now. I don't do any extreme setup on brass anymore. ---------- www.truechromatic.com

I prefer #1 but rotating reed means that the reed can become loose.
