Hey, your pal JB is now in my main band !
Gitslinger, naturally.
Our young gun started acting squirrely, and booked competing gigs for his rockabilly/string band composed of guys more his contemporaries. We figured he would move on eventually. He went about it inartfully, but he's young...and as I say, it really wasn't unexpected.
Nice thing about running a jam by invite, you get to check out the relative talents of regulars.
So JB was a natural fit. He just has to get comfy with our repertoire.
Now, we don't need an emotional blowup. I'm sure the transition will be easy...almost seemless.
I can't wait to have him do some violin !
