Today I hung out with a good friend that is in terrible shape from the addictive life he lead. It was sad to see someone my age that seemed 30 years, at least, older. He is physically frail, in pain, and befuddled alot. These two songs are about the visit we had and the harp choice by the low harp thread. Walter

Greatstuff Walter. Especially enjoyed the subject matter, made me think. The music was great too, relfected what you were singing about, like aural poetry or sumthin :)

Thanks so much for your comments DirtyDeck! You nailed what I feel when I play. It paints a picture, or a movie and I watch it unfold. Because it is all spontaneously done, there are no rules about where it can go and my way of learning instruments fits this approach perfectly. If one sings about the real blues they feel, with no filters and boundries, the music will be his own. Walter

Really liked those Walter. So true how ones demons can hold a person captive...literally and figuratively. Too many prisoners and captives to this kind of thing in this world.
