Just sharing for anyone not familiar. Sean was as fine a bluesman as there ever was or will be. Look around on youtube. Tons of video. I'll try to choose one to add here. Paul Linden, a phenomenal harp player (and piano), worked with him for years. Paul teaches now at U Miss.
I discovered Sean after hearing Jason Ricci talk about him. He was a great guitarist and singer, he seemed to put so much into each note. I still havn't bought anything by him yet although i do check out his video's on youtube from time to time. You can also preview his songs on Amazon aswell.

I am from Atlanta originally, and when I go to visit my family, I normally wind up at Maddys BBQ in Decatur, where there is a Thurdsay Night Blues Jam run by Chicago Joe Jones. He is a prince of a fellow, who does wonders with kids. Sean Costello frequently was at this Jam session, and the Thursday before his death he was there, and so was I. Harvy is that Decatur IL ? ... As you all know i tour with the Kilborn Alley Band ... We won the Sean Costello Rising Star Award .2009 .. We are up for 2 more awards this year ...Blues Blast Music Awards ...We were presented the award by his Mom and Dad ... verry nice folk ....Sad what happend to him ...He will shurley be missed ...
