I'm producing another BLOWDOWN HOEDOWN for Friday, October 8. It's a three harper tribute to six of Blues harmonica legends:
"Radio" Ray Wells, Jere Sullivan, and yours truly..."Joey Five & Dimes",
doing Little Walter, Junior Wells, SB II, Sonny Terry, Big Walter, Paul Butterfield, and maybe some Jimmy Reed and Howlin' Wolf.
Backed by a band of All-Stars including "Burning James" Scoolis, Bassman Bob Weatherford, "Screamin' Jimmy" Townsend on keys, "Drivin' Don" Manzano on drums and special guests.
MC'ed by the incomparable Lenny Blue.
Venue is the SLO DOWN PUB in Arroyo Grande, California.
