I'm just finishing a book some of you may well be familiar with, Daniel Levitin's 'The World in Six Songs'. Fantastic fodder for the music anthropologist in us all, it deftly explains why music truly separates us from the other species.
Now I must give his earlier work - 'This is your brain on music' a read! Great stuff! Anyone else checked him out...? :~)
