I thought your harp playing was really cool. You have an interesting vibrato. Was pretty sure you were in 3rd position because of some of the riffs you play were "Sweet Silver Bells" esque, and I play it in 3rd. Then again there were times when I thought you were in 2nd.

Just mentioning that he tunes his harps in a non-standard tuning. He mentions it on some of his other vids...that could be what threw you.

It´s actually standard tuning on this harmonica. I always give info if it´s special tuning. What probably inspired me to play like this is Charlie Musselwhite´s soulful harmonica in 3rd position. He often use to play an A harp in 3rd position. One of my favourite tunes in 3rd position is Jason Ricci´s "Baked Potato". It has some similarities to Green Onions, which also can be played in 3rd pos.

Yes, I love Baked Potato too. I believe it's the first song that I used to practice 3rd position on.
