Mindset by Carol Dweck
This book is fantastic and although not specifically about harmonica, it totally relates to becoming the best player you can be...nothing religious controversial, etc...just great research-based evidence supporting the importance of perception, hard work, and effort.
If you work with other people, have kids, or are social at all, there is also great reading on how to interact with others in a positive way.
There have been quite a few nature vs. nurture type debates on the forum ranging from discussion of teen-harp players and their potential (and how we as a forum have started to set them up for failure), how some of the pros on the board were born with a genetic advantage, how the harmonica has "limits" as to what it is good for, why you should or shouldn't practice, what makes some players great, etc.
The book tackles pretty much all of these topics by sharing parallel examples in the fields of business, sports, relationships, coaching, and teaching.
