My Bro works grave yard shift my Local jams are held week nights, so i only i get to play at these jams with him when he takes a sickie or aranges his holidays and days off around them,

we have been looking for some sunday arvo Jams to attend,
we are new in this part of town still looking around finding who holds what where and when around the hood,

My Bro's work mates lady works the Bar at a pub 5-mins away, he dropped by last month to tell us to drop over sunday arvo's they hold a Jam session ever 3rd sunday of the month:)

Ye Ha!!!! lets go Bro i say:)

We don't want to look like gooses or every other goose at a jam session, we have a set list of songs and rehears the songs we are going to play on the day or night several hours befor we go:)

So Sunday comes around we are well preped lets go check this gig out he say, he's keen makeing me hyped up Yeh!!! Mate lets give it a Belt Bro!!!:)

we pull at the pub find the guy running the show he's cool
yeh mate give ya a go sure:)

we have some food to eat sit in the corner like outsiders as we expected it waould be a very loose jam Crowd, play half way through a song stuff up start again or play something else as bad,
the crowd was there for the food more than the jam not many people in our part of the Pub,

ok it's our turn and we are the only Delta Blues Men in the Pub and I'm the only Harp Player,
as soon as harp was heard that was it the room was full we got a great wrap from the patrons and after wards the Publican Bought us drinks, well me Diet coke my Bro Brews we had a great arvo:) he walked out pissed that Arvo:)

so last Sunday the jam was on again we had told the guy running the Jam we would be back, we do our thing rehears befor we go,
we turn up at the Pub my Bro says man Geeze theres a lot of cars out the front today food must be good,

we go in there's this rageing party going on it's the Publicans Birthday

the guys are setting up, the regulars are there ready to play, we shuffel up the back sit in our corner ready to listen to the opening Jammers no problems,

the guy who runs the jam comes over to us and says you guys are up first,

Like this is the second time we have been there, he gives us 20 mins on stage to get the party rageing, there going Hard the free piss was flowing, we were well recieved the crowd loved us:)

so with respect we hang around to watch the regulars play not just run out the door:)
later on we get another Go on stage we stretched it out for another 15 mins had a great time,
the publican turn on the Beer for my Bro again me Diet coke he walks out smashed again:)

My Bro's work mate told him monday night at work we got some of the regular jammers noses out of joint there saying it's just a Jam arvo nothing to seriouse:(

My Bro told him They will have to get used to us or go home and play with there selves we arent going away,
they will have to pick there game up or look like fools every time:)

Way to go i said Bro:)

I like that a) you guys actually thought about what you would play and worked on it and b) you had the respect to stick around to hear some of the other folks. Makes me crazy when jammers leave as soon as they have their 15 minutes. Good show.

very glad for you.
you 2 could be gracious and invite some of the long-term regulars to play with you.
that is what a jam is, after all.

Thanks Bro's, Conjob the jam is in the Home town of Miss Univers 2004 Jennifer Hawkins:)
Homesville Pub every 3rd sunday of the month,
we plan to be the next Beutiful thing that comes out of Homesville:)

one of my fav songs to sing is Little red rooster
another is Like a Wolf:)

Bro's we have no problems playing with the regulars
we are the Only Delta Blues Duo,
but if persons wish to play with us I'm all for it:)

It's the 2nd time we have been there sort of walking on eggshells trying to be polite,
i got a funny comment from one regular when the host offerd my services
the 1st time we showed up:)
But we planed to sit up the back and wait our turn this time,

for some people it is only a Jam My Bro and i we aren't Pro's by a Long shot
but we take the Pro tude, Play like a Pro or Look like a Shmo:(
as you can see it works, we owe it to the person running the jam ourself and the Music
we play:)to put on a good show:)

So when asked to play 1st, no if's buts or hesitation strait out Yeh Mate no Problems,
but i thought the regulars might get a bit shirty,we played our best then got of stage,

one of the regulars said to me you guys are good i said thanks she said No!! i mean you Guys are ?*%king Good:)
i introduce myself and she explains that she was the person who urged the Publican to start running Jams with the help of the Host who owns the gear:)

we got a foot in the Door it might get steped on a few times but hay thats Life:)
