My wife surprised me with tix for Mark Hummel's Little Walter Tribute with Anson Funderburgh on July 11th at the Bull Run in Shirley, MA. The opener looks like a pretty cool group, too - Carl Ricci & 706 Union Ave.
We'll be sitting right in front of the stage, eating a nice meal while we listen to these great musicians! We enjoyed Paul and Annie at the Bull Run a while back. I can't wait -this should be a great show!

I'm unfamiliar with the location, but it certainly sounds excellent.

I have Mark hummels instructional dvd----its really good-----I think this guy deserves way more praise and recognition

The Bull Run is like an old tavern with a couple of ballrooms. It seems like there's at least 2-3 acts going on inside there at once. This was a birthday gift from my thoughtful wife.
I'll have to check out his dvd, snowman!
