Hey Budda I ran into a friend of yours last night.

I was in Des moines,Iowa @ Blues on Grand to see Moreland & Arbuckle. Harold is a good friend of Dustin Arbuckle. So they asked Harold to join them. WOW he has a huge tone and great vibrato I was impressed.

This is NOT video from last night just something that was posted on U-Tube.

Harold is a great guy! He has a show on KFAI that is fantastic. He plays a lot of West Coast stuff...mostly in 3rd position. He also plays with Jeff Ray. That stuff is all Delta-influenced acoustic stuff.

He is very well versed in blues harmonica!

cool. I haven't seen Harold in years. Usually when I go back to MN I focus on shaming Fugazi on stage, looks like I'll have to cut Harold too.

Too many good harp players from MN making me feel inadequate.

What a fun back-up band...great walking bass. The harp player is no Rod Piazza but still great fun to listen to for that style of music.
