Hello all.
I recently discovered elder roma wilson and become really hooked on his playing / music. ( I am a signed up and confirmed atheist).
I have noticed on a lot of his songs there are multiple harps. Done some googling but cant find out who the other player is that he used to play with. Did he have a second harpist or maybe, was he playing multiple tracks himself?
A lot of the songs sound live so i am assuming there is a second blower.
On an aside, Does anybody now a harp customiser who has a 'keeping stock' policy so that there are not extensive waiting periods? I am looking to get a custom harp for a gift for a good friend but there seems to be a common prolonged waiting period across the board.
Best wishes.

I know that Ben Bouman said his lead time with stage 3 beta-harps is about 3 weeks. I ordered mine about 3 weeks ago (it was confirmed july-1) so we'll see if that estimate was accurate... ;)

I saw a post recently from Chris "Buddha" Michalek where he had a few keys available (not because he stocks them). Note they are customized per a certain players style which may or may not suit your friends needs. ---------- Rob

The two other players on those tracks were actually his sons. The tracks with multiple harps were from the fifties and were made and issued unbeknownst to him. It blew him away when blues freaks tracked him down and told him he was an underground legend. The other tracks are more modern live tracks. He is fantastic.
