That's great, Mike! You should be proud. Cool poster, but one question-is that your rusty-assed harp? ;-)

Lol, I noticed that too. Of course the poster guy finds a pic of the most beat up harp online! I think it is really cool that Famous Dave's is so into the Blow-off. They really wanted to make sure transportation was lined up and they are doing a great job of promoting the event.

Is the shuttle service free? If so....free for SPAH and non SPAH folks?

My understanding is free for anyone attending SPAH.

Mike,

The reason I ask, is that people may be attending SPAH but want to bring a non-SPAH guest along to the blow off. You wouldn't think that your guest would have to drive seperately.

Or you could have just gotten there late Tuesday, haven't purchased your SPAH ticket yet, etc and want to go.

I think if you are at the Ramada and wanting to go, no one will care if you get on/off the bus, lol.

MIke, Great line-up for the blow off! Did you arrange that?

I'm looking forward to meeting you there. Will the shuttle run back and forth all evening, or just one trip, or....?

Anyone else going that hasn't spoke up yet!

Thanks,

Just getting settled in back home from "vacation"...I am looking forward to meeting a lot of you guys in person finally as well! Greg, I'll be looking to track you down right away, lol.

Regarding the shuttle...my understanding is it will run back and forth throughout the night.

The line-up wasn't really my decision, although I suggested a few names that weren't on the original list. Some were asked and others weren't. Really all I did was secure a location and payment plan. SPAH and Famous Dave's did most the work.

I talked to Buzz Krantz before I skipped town. He mentioned arranging for a few other players to come up at various times. I am not sure how official any of the names are, so I am hesitant to mention them, but they were people everyone here would know of for sure.

It is about time I figure out my setlist for my set! I can't believe SPAH is only a couple weeks away! This is the BUSIEST time of year for me with work, but I think I can make most the convention with the exception of Wednesday morning.

I'm looking forward to seeing you play and meeting you.
Here's who SPAH has listed for Tues. night:Rob Paparozzi, Steve Baker, Brendan Power, Joe Filisko & Eric Noden, Chris Michalek, Jimi Lee, RJ Mischo.
You are listed as host band,of course. That's quite a lineup for day 1 !!

My first SPAH. How many people attend this? Is there any "don't miss" events that you know of?

I'm excited for this as well! I hope my team gets there in time for this. Are tickets for the blowoff purchasable at the gate, I guess? Unless Im mistaken no other activity is going on that Tuesday night, right? I can't believe it's in 2 weeks!!

Ryan-no problem. We'll get there in time to take a nap before the blow-off. Having my car gone over this week so it will be in tip top shape. Can you say:ROAD TRIP!!
