I've always got pissed when I needed to make alt. tunings - you have to write down your existing layout, and the target layout. And then write out the difference in semitones... most of the time - only to find out that it's not very smart to retune the harmonica that way.
Fo this finally got me, and I've written a small webapp for that. It's called "Tune-o-matic":

betatesting stage! If you encounter inaccurate calculations, please let me know.

A bit too advanced for my current harp knowledge Jim but I admire anyone who writes apps like that. I've not learnt any php yet so I was interested to take a look at your code. Could you tell me why some of it is in russian? Just out of interest.

it is written in JS. And frankly speaking it is an "indian port" of my other app harp-o-matic.
Code comments are in Russian because I am Russian :D
oh yes, it does not work and WILL NOT work in IE. Please get a normal browser to view it :)

Thanks Jim. That'll teach me to be nosey. I didn't realise you were Russian. Regarding IE, it's all I use. Ive never had any problems with it and hate the hassle of changing things again. Thanks.
