My guitar man--and Nat Riddles's longtime guitar man--Charlie Hilbert is in the process of relocating from Canaan, NH to Randolph, VT. I'm sure he's interested in playing some gigs, and he's obviously the best guitarist a harp player could want. If you think you might have a gig for him, and you can keep up with him, you might want to give him a holler:

Charlie plays bass and harp as well as guitar, and he has loads of experience in leading jam sessions. He's great in duo and band contexts. He's the guy.
Randolph is were I saw Charlie Musslewhite for the first time about 20 years ago. There was a small club in the town square that wrapped around a park. It is a nice little Norman Rockwell type town just off the highway(91 or 93 I don't recall which). A high school friend/first guitar player went to college thier also. He and I both grew up in nothern New York about an hour away. I hope charlie does well there it is a beutiful area! I wish I still lived in the area. It would be nice to know a guitar player that knows how to coexist with a harp!
Hi Adam, thanks for the heads up.When do you think Charlie will be settled in?I,m doing my annual 2 weeks in Stockbridge Vt. which is basically around the corner from Randolph(15 minutes)I,m heading up on the 29th of July to escape from the madness of the Jersey shore and head to the mountains,I,ve been going to the same spot since 74 and its a great place to get away in the summer.I,m on day 89 straight without a day off so I,m defintely looking forward to it.If your bud is settled in by then I would look forward to getting together with him if at all possible.Let me know what you think,Thanks,RJ
