Thanks you. This is what this forum is all about. I'm an advanced beginner/beginning intermediate and found your vidio's very helpful. They add to and validate what other pros, Adam and Gindick have said. Use the 4 blow as a stepping stone note and every note is important. I particularly liked the color and difference in the I chord variations.
@Tweed Bliss is just the messanger here, although in his profile picture he looks a bit like the guy in the video. The guy in the video is Lee Sankey. ----------
Wow! Thanks for turning me on to Lee Sanky! Here's more proof that you don't need to play 100 notes per beat to sound good:
There are a couple of things I could tell him about using space, though. I'd tell him: 1. "Damn, man, you sure know how to use space, don't ya!!" 2. "I LOVE how you use space!!"
Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go watch some more Lee Sanky videos.

the notes from this posting says he is playing first position....is that for real?I have recordings of deford bailey, who came on last @grand ole opry in the late 30s and 40s,and first position was all there was at that time if crossharp was used then I guess it was being developed by masters like sonny terry or john lee williamson
/the notes from this posting says he is playing first position/
The two (instructional) videos I posted are (I think!) 2nd position on a C harmonica.
The live video posted by gene is (I think!) 1st position on a G harmonica until round about the 4 minute mark (when he picks up the bullet mic and switches to 2nd position on a C harmonica).
