Who from MBH will be at SPAH this year? I look forward to meeting and jamming with my MBH friends.
P.S. I was talking with Alex Paclin today, and he may be flying to Minneapolis with me. This was exciting news for me, because he's a great player.

I'll be there Todd, for the blowoff, seminars and a show, plus working at the Suzuki booth. Looking forward to jamming with you and Alex - I think he's great too :)

I wish I could make it this year Todd. You where first to welcome me with with an informal instructional sit down reviewing country lick patterns last year when I came alone and knew no one.
I though I'd encounter a convention full of blues blower wanna be newbies. (not that there is anything wrong with being a beginner) Boy was I ever wrong.
If you where a guitar god fan in the 60s-70's it was more like being welcomed to a sit down with Hendrix, Clapton, Page, Garcia, McLuaghlin and Beck et al.
It's a pity you pro's don't make the living those rock stars did - but on the plus side - all your talent and prowess hasn't gone to your heads or hearts. It's wonderful how accessible and giving you all are.
The whole SPAH experience inspired me to work on learning new positions (after being 'stuck' in second for 35 years) - and finally order some custom harps and B Rad's (-if they will ever arrive)
Enjoy it without me. My spread-across-the-country band is coming to town for some recording and a rare gig.

I'll be there, generally to make trouble and stir up shit.
Beyond that I will be chained to my table (affectionately referred to as a booth) in the vendor area the whole damn time. Bring me a beer! I'm hungry!
But I love SPAH. It is a hoot. ---------- /Greg

I'll be there Wednesday through Friday for Harrison Harmonicas, maybe Sat., too. This will be my first SPAH. I've actually only been to Buckeye a couple times, and then I wasn't there very long. So, I am REALLY excited. I bought a new pocket watch for the occasion (well, new to me, it's an old [maybe 1940s] silver-plated mechanical 17 jewel with an Elk on it), cause for a thing like SPAH, a man ought to have a decent pocket watch. I am even considering buying a new Stetson felt fedora to wear and am sitting around like a dang kid, thinking whether to carry a Swiss Army or a dress pocket knife, or both and it's what, almost two months away... That's how excited I am. ----------

I am going to be really disappointed if I am not around enough to meet you guys. I think I can be there all day Friday...maybe most the day Thursday. Looking ahead, I might only need to miss most of Wednesday. ---------- Mike

Wednesday I for sure have to work a full day. Thursday is up in the air...I may have to be there in the morning for a couple hours. Friday is wide open.
SPAH is always my first full week back at work...the only week I can't take time off. To further compound it, I will be in the Cities for a different convention the whole week before...August always sucks for me. :( ---------- Mike
