I will be in Paris in August - wondering if any of you can recommend particular Jam sessions ?
I've tried to get some info on the web but couldn't find any clear schedules and venues.

I have tried the same at Christmas with no luck, but you could just go to a gig and ask if you can sit in for a number.
There is a jazz club and an Irish themed pub in Les Halles.
Miko remember all Parisiens will be on their holidays in August and a lot of places shut for 4 weeks.
You could try asking in the very good musical instrument shop in Pigalle; best selection of harps I have ever seen in a shop.

Hey harmonicanick, cheers for the message. Yep, I know that the Parisians are away in August, especially that I am one, originally :)
Will try your idea with the musical shop! I think I know which one you mean, I also believe JJ Milteau hangs around there from time to time.
