Just bought Adams jam tracks and I think I'm gonna be cooking from now on. It's taken me a while (just over 3 years) to get confident enough to want to jam along with some tracks but I'm there now and raring to go.

@Tooka: Which set did you get? I have the Hills Blues set as well as the Charlie Hilbert tracks. I MUCH prefer Charlie's tracks.

What I like about the Hilbert tracks is that they are for specific standard blues tunes. I still struggle mightily with coming up with original/improv stuff so when I play to the Hills collection I just go blank. At least with something like "Easy" there's a structure there that I can try to copy and maybe add to.

Well, what I've played so far has been really good. I need to watch Adams video a couple of times now to find the best way to use them. I don't want the problem of going blank if I can help it.

You know, I should probably go revisit that video. I got the Hills collection a little over a year ago. Maybe the video will help me a little more now that I've got more time under my belt.

I really like charlies tracks I dont play during his vocals and on stormy monday he also has a good guitar solo where I dont play he lets you know when to "blow your horn" and tells you the key which gives you time to grab the right harp

hope they do another with familiar blues like little red rooster and maybe do a couple in minor keys to practice third position

Been playing with the tracks and both sets are great.

The video that comes with the electric tracks by the Hills Blues Collective is particular informative. Adams said it's one of the better videos and I tend to agree. It's an hour long and it has certainly filled a lot of gaps in my knowledge. I can heartily recommend it for anyone thinking about getting these. If you are a relative newcomer to the harp it will kick you off in the right direction early on in your harp playing journey.

All I got to do now is put some that information to good use and post some of the results on the forum. Sorry.
