My wife and I went to see Rockin' Jake play at Biscuits & Blues in SFO last night. Great show, but the reason I'm posting is that Jake is currently on a benefit tour to raise funds for, and awareness about, the New Orleans Musician's Clinic (NOMC). NOMC was established by a group of non-profits to offer affordable health care to the musicians of New Orleans. It is now facing the loss of its federal funding, which currently covers 90% of its operating costs.
