Caught this young ladies performance on Woodsongs last Sat. eve. I am in total awe. It was a repeat from last year. I believe when she was 11 years old and had just released her first CD. Have been watching her YT vids all week and downloaded the CD from Amazon a little while ago. I repeat, total awe and a little frightening. She's haunted, such an old soul in such a young body. IMHO she's got it all. Rhythm, timing, wonderful voice and stage presence. Not knocking Taylor Swift or Miley Cyrus at all but they need some schooling from this little girl. Writes most of her own material.

Ive been playing to JJ Grey's tunes for almost a year now. The cut from the LP is called Lochloosa...The boys I jam with are very much fans of the swampland group. They blend contemporary and blues very well..she does a good job here. Very soulful. i was looking for the blue third, but Im certain with a little more time, she'll nail it...probably when shes 12...

She's a big fan of JJ Greys. Don't think you can see it in this vid but there is a note and autograph scribed on the front of her guitar. He introduces her on one of the YT vids.
