Maybe I'll go for the Champ looking to add mods soon, but I may be able to get a fair deal on the Hohner Hoodoo box. Still more than the Fender but has reverb,tone and gain.....Hmmmmm....Has anyone tried/got one? All opinions welcome :~)

Jim Rossen posted a review of the Hoodoo Box on the Weber VST forum...it wasn't great.

Thanx 5F6H, the extras are attractive, but I have yet to see a good report on the Hoodoo. I wish here downunder we had the choice you guys in the states have....think I'm gonna go the champ! :~) Oops, I just realised your in the UK.......Doh!!

$180 bucks plus post im in Newcastle NSW
i can supply the original speaker but no box to put it in i tossed the cab,
this is a Epiphone copy comes out the same factory door in China as Epiphones VJ

Yo Rubes yep we ain't got much to choose from Downunder
in the way of tube amps there is this amp i'm sure it's worth a look with a tube swap or 2 Who knows,
and it would make a good base to do mods later on down the track:)

Thanx heaps Nasty,I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks that's a nice piece of work! However, I grabbed the champ today for $300 which I thought was pretty good (Macronadonalds) just off now to give her a run with the boys and Mr COOPERS!!!:~)
