I'm beginning to wonder if there is such a thing as genetic memory/skills which can be transmitted down the family line? That kid just doesn't look old enough to have learnt that in the normal way. Just look at how he looks around him whilst his fingers are working ten to the dozen. Doesn't appear to be any concentration at all on his part.

I'm puzzled and now I'm pissed. I want some of that.

This is great empirical evidence in favor of natural ability for music (or ''talent'' in common parlance)...

Could be a savant I suppose? They pick things up lightning fast but are normally socially inadequate.

you know as much as I like the kid's guitar solo, I think the guy's vocal baseline is awesome!

I saw Joe Bonamassa do the same thing at 12-13 years old. He blew us all away.

That kid is great, but the singer humming along bass lines in the mic the whole time is distracting, and just sounds goofy to me. If it's a blues festival you'd think they could surely find a bass player.

That looks like a group of guys playing on the street. I certainly doesn't look like a festival stage.
