The festival season is upon us. Portland has a great three day party every year. The organizer is fond of anything out of New Orleans, and because its a fund raiser for the Oregon Food Bank, there are usually a few headliners that are not really blues, but its still the best show west of the Mississippi.
On the Forth, there is a "harmonica blow off" featuring local talent and any guests featured in the festival. This year Curtis Salgado closes that day off before the fire works.
If you're in town you'd dig it. $10 per day with four stages.
