I just wanted to introduce a Swedish artist that I had pleasure to listen live just an hour ago here in northern Finland. Really good musician - great singer and slide player. He played acoustic steel guitar (+ one song with 12-string), and was accompanied by a bassist.

Here's some videos from him:

Very cool--I like that he seems to be so happy to be playing. . .

I have to say that I really like this guy. I admit that I have been quite bored with the whole "blues" thing, but this artist really inspired me. I bought a record from him called "Northern heart, Southern soul", which is an acoustic record. He plays pretty traditional stuff there, influences are from the 20's & 30's I think. But he manages to put something really genuine in it, so that it's really wonderful to listen.

I don't know, perhaps it just took a fellow scandinavian to inspire me again. In any case, take a shot with this guy if you like really good singing and expressive, yet simple slide guitar!
