Here is just what you are looking for. The original of the repro that I have. If only my money tree were in bloom.

Oh mah gawd.

I'm kinda skint myself. Just bought a new Clark. But in about 12 months I may be able to slip one of those 47's under the wife's "Over The Horizon" radar...

Perhaps if we disguised it as some sort of giant badger and fired it over the wall :)

Drew, those "Supro Supreme" clips I posted a while back were on one of these, albeit with 0.1 mfd coupling caps, and I liked it better with no bypass cap on the input stage, or a bigger (50 mfd) one if you use a bypass cap. I say change the 200K (probably) grid load resistor on the input(s) to 4.7 or 5 Meg if you want maximum wah action at the mic. Big first filter cap, too, need 40 or 47 mfd.

Just one of the classic amps, in fact was a Chicago mainstay in the early 50s for guys who couldn't afford Gibsons/Fenders. Stock, they kill with P-90s, great Willie Johnson/Pat Hare tone. Won't do that if you go with full harp mods; if you go with 0.047 coupling caps and maybe a 1 Meg grid load resistance on the input(s), stock bypass cap, it should probably split the difference OK in your hands. Really you should have one for harp and one for guitar :).

I've got something similar. It's a Valco-made amp with a Tower label on it. It looks a little different. I had Skip Simmons go over it a year ago. It sounds great, but I rarely play it. I've never seen another one like it.
