Do pople use the 3 overblow?
If my music theory is up to scratch is it the blue third?
Which is the same as the bent 3 hole anyway.

The 3 overblow is the same note as the 4 blow. It is useful to me if I want to bend it upward for expression of this note, but I don't use it much. This would be a great question for Buddha, so chime in if you read this one, Chris.

At SPAH, Joe Filisko asked us in the late night blues jam to use only the first 3 holes of the harmonica for a 12-bar blues jam. This was a great opportunity to use the hole 3 overblow. :-)
