there had to be something wrong with it. no one takes a 200 dollar cut on something that is in mint condition, that is in such high demand... ---------- Kyzer's Travels Kyzer's Artwork

I've always sold top name amps at a discount to move them and liberate myself from them expeditiously and fairly. I would set a price and that was that: whether it was Dennis G. or an anonymous ebay buyer. It felt clean with integrity and fait because I had gotten some time with it. Sometimes I will see a current production Sonny Jr. amp cost approximately the same as his sale price. And boy You're right about that recession for some of us. d ---------- Myspace: dennis moriarty

If you watch Ebay daily for harp amps, you will occassionally see a real bargain on a big name amp. Could be someone desperate for cash or as Dennis said just moving it quickly, perhaps to pay for a bargain they recently came across.......or a root canal

I might not be the norm but I rather pay 185.00 more for a brand new amp then buy used with no warranty. If the amp is not packed properly or something happens in the shipping of the amp it will cost you to fix it unless you are handy. That is just me. Now if I can save 250.00 it is worth it :)

Yea hemi: that was my point about the absurdity of some current production Sonny Jr's going for a price nearly if not the original price. Who wouldn't just buy it from Sonny. Harp Kings (even when John was making them) may have been a little different since the wait was so long it may have justified the premium. Nevertheless I still priced my HK fairly. So my sellers "wisdom" has always been: price low-make someone happy (why not?) and say goodbye to the item easily..... Well until you want to buy it back;) d ---------- Myspace: dennis moriarty
