I haven't posted here in a while, but I wanted to let you know that on Saturday, May 13, some time between 7 and 9 AM Central (I'm not sure about other time zones), there will be a story on NPR's "Weekend Edition Saturday," hosted by Scott Simon, featuring a visit with the blues literature class I've been teaching this spring at the Mississippi State Penitentiary. There will be some harmonica playing, too, since Hohner (Rick DeJonge) was nice enough to give me a free Blues Harp for every student in my class.

The correspondent is John Burnett, who recently retired from NPR after 36 years. He's a fine harp player in his own right.

The segment, I'm told, will be repeated Monday on "All Things Considered."
