A friend of mine asked if I know where to get a mic like in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDuFr5plPdY (around 2:50)

Never seen anything like that before, do you have knowledge if somebody makes those?

Looks Like some kind of acryllic. May even be a home made resin thing but does not look ilke a DIY.

His name is Jon Paris-he is a staple of the NYC blues scene.
I have been fortunate to have jammed with Jon at Mannys Car Wash back in the day-great musician-multi-faceted-plays bass,guitar and harp.
He still uses that mic-not sure what it is-never had the chance to ask.
Jon plays every Monday night at Lucilles inside BB Kings in NYC.

My favorite bass player of Johnny's was Tommy Shannon but this blew my mind. I play bass, I play harp, doing what he did there is mighty impressive to me. There's a One Man Band for ya.

P.S. The Space Shuttle just flew over and rattled my office windows.
