I was looking through some of Kudzurunner's uploads to youtube earlier today and came across this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81jrr3Dxpr4
I loved the video but what really struck me was the part from 3:20 onwards where Mr Satan was playing acoustically. I've never really heard another guitar player quite like that sound.

So my question is, has anyone ever heard a similar sound come from a different source? Has anyone ever heard another blues player (or any other musician for that matter) play in the same style as Mr Satan?

And a second question possibly to adam, does anyone happen know if there are any more recorded works of Mr Satan playing acoustically?

Here's the video.

Satan's guitar there sounds a lot like what he plays at the beginning of "no more doggin" from Living on the River.

Guitar players feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the interesting sound you hear is created by an open tuning. Plus he is playing a 12 string guitar.
