The day's are near ...The last time i was around more than 100 Harmonica Players ... Was the opening of the BB King Museum And i helped Billy Branch pass out 1.000 harmonicas to all the School Kid's in Indianolia MS ....And we all paraded from the Highschool .. all through town, to the Museum ...Billy put my battery operated amp on a Wheel cart and draged it all the way there playing ....and I was the coach to keep all the kid's playing ... 3 Kids fell out ....from heat stroke ....it was 98 that day ....but a great weekend .... Cant wait to see everyone ....Deak Harp ........

im fighting like no ones business to get Kyzer's gal to come along.. she might have to steal away... then we will both be runaways. ive already got a refund from adam, but would gladly pony up the 50 in cash to him should she be able to sneak out...the van's battery is charged, oil changed, tires aired. ready for the inaugural trip west of nashville.
glad adam called it HCH 1, this event is something that must carry on. i can already tell it'll be one for the history books.

Hi Deak, I wish I was coming to meet you and the guys at HCH but sadly cannot make the trip from the UK. I really do hope all those who make it have a wonderful time and I hope it all goes well for you.
I think Adam has done a courageous job in organising this event and that it is something that harp players will talk about in the years ahead. It's no mean feat taking something like that on but from what I see on the HCH site, Adam has bent over backwards to satisfy everones requirements.
Hopefully there will be another next year or sometime in the future that I could come to.
Have a great time everyone and please take lots of pictures and videos.

My Winnebago will be taking its second trip to the delta ....im taking my gal.. ill be ariving thursday in Clarksdale ... Ground Zero blues jam starts at 8 ... till 11 i think ... then it's off to Red's if he is open .... then in the morning head east ... on 278 i think ...till i get to the hills .....

Heading that way on Friday morning early. Got an 8 hour drive, give or take, and I'm jazzed about this deal. Rollin' stag this time,(no pun intended)my wife has to watch after the boy.

yo everyone,
I'm leaving Delaware early in the am on thursday hoping to make it to roosters. I've been playin just under 2 years and am hoping to listen, learn, expand my 12 bar vocabulary, work on my stage fright, and have a blast. I go by stu and look just like Arnold Schwarzeneger. So if you see me introduce yourself, I'm leavin the wife home so I can get some quality harp training. I believe this will be the place to learn. Hope everyone has a safe trip.

the forecast for waterford is hot and dry-better than rain and stormy-there are ways you can make yourself more comfortable-this is probably typical for mississippi-look forward to seeing the countryside and it sounds like a great atmosphere thanks to adam and crew-see yall there
