I thought I would take a bit of a punt and put in a bit for £30 for a champion bullet mic that I came accross in ebay.
It is called a champion radio A-B stockholm.
I don't even know if it works or not, or what type of mic it is.
Has anyone ever seen this type of mic before?
I think it looks a lot like a turner mic, is it possible that it is made by turner?
The listing is below, let me know what you think.
You will need to scroll down to see the mic.

It looks like a Turner to me - Have you found out of the element works? If it doesn't you could always buy a Shure CM & add it your self . I have seen Harp players using similar shells it might be a bit big & heavey but that might not bother you

I haven't received the mic yet so I don't know what type of element it has or if it works yet. I like the look of the shell but I can see how the fins could be a problem.
I live in the UK and most of the bullet mics on sale are from the usa, even if you can find a good deal on a mic the shipping and possible customs charges put me off importing them.
I was the only person to bid on the mic, I think that might be because it wasn't listed as a turner or harp mic so that would have helped keep the price down.
If it does work it will be a result, if not it wont be too much money to lose and I can try and get it fixed up.

yep it's a Turner 22D,..it's big an heavy,.too heavy to play more than one Blues song through,.. Check out the pics of the chopped one I did called Diamond T ,..this is what you'll have to do to make it harp friendley,.they make good harp mics once the weight is removed.

Joe_L, I just bought the mic because I wanted a cheap bullet mic.
The weight wont be a problem because the most I will be doing with it is playing a few songs at a local jam, but I think I will grind down the fins to make it a little easier to hold.

belfast_harper,. The lower fin carries all the weight,.the upper fin is way tall,.. I used a saw's all on Diamond T as the alloy in those old mics take forever to cut through with a hack saw,.however ya cut em away,.once gone ya'all will have a very nice Bullet Mic <>.
