I was delighted to stumble across a new video by my old friend, NYC player Trip Henderson. Trip is the guy who sold me the 1955 Bassman that I still have.
He was playing heavily amped blues back then, but he actually began as a first position player and these days he does more in the folk/bluesgrass bag. Here's a first-position piece. He does this stuff well.
Here's the new upload, "Diddy Wah Diddy," a song I've played on many pickup gigs. This is a good example of core repertoire for the well-rounded harp player who wants to work:
