I sat about 30 feet away and The Mighty Flyers delivered two sets of awesome music outdoors in a little plaza for about 150 people. Rod was using the 6x10 HarpKing amp. He was never concerned about feedback and he was playing loud! The first set he used a JT-30 crystal mic and the second set he used a Shure bullet CR. He told me the crystal during the first set seemed a little mushy so he switched mics for the second set. The whole band was such a pleasure to watch and listen to. Honey Piazza is the glue that keeps it all together from the keyboards. If they come close to you then you had better catch these guys. Super professional show and Rod is just almost too nice to talk to, he just is just so polite and down to earth.
