Just enjoyed half an hour or so re-watching Adam's lesson on Jr. Wells' 'Early in the Morning'. I think I have it down pretty good now! I left it alone for a while after first watching as I couldn't make the rapid tongue block changes sound very good, nor any of it really... So it feels good to revisit something and manage to play it second time round.

Quick question to anyone familiar with the piece: on the tab sheet, Adam has noted the 2nd to last note of the first phrase as the 2-5 blow. After listening to Wells playing the piece, it sounds more like the 1-4 blow, and when I make this change it seems to sound better. Is this a typo in the tab sheet or am I missing some nuance that is making it sound different to me?

Hope this makes sense!

Cheers,

Oliver.
