AKA the "Blowdown Hoedown" ( check it out on myspace.com/blowdownhoedown )

Well, it was simply incredible!
SIX blues harp geniuses presenting a Little Walter extravaganza: Ray ( Deep ) Wells, Chuck ( Wheeler ) Rorabaugh, Jeff ( the Viper ) Priolo, The incomparable Kevin McCracken, "Little" Jimmy Funn, and yours truly...
Joey Five & Dimes.
Backed by a coterie of some of the finest musicians on the Central Coast: Bruce Krupnik, Dr. Stan Hamrick, Jim Clark, Bob Weatherford, Rod Aszman, Geert DeLang, Mike Gerber, Raymond Diepenbrock,
and hosted / MC by the intelligent and handsome Lenny Blue !

We had six sets of featured harp songs from the LW songbook...19 total.
Juke, Just Your Fool, Off the Wall, Key to the Highway, My Babe, Got to Find My Baby, Mellow down Easy, Break It Up Baby, Oh Baby, Can't hold out Much Longer, Blues With a Feeling, Dead Presidents, Evrything's Gonna be Alright,It Ain't Right, Too Late, Had My Fun, Mean Old World, Roller Coaster ( As producer, I took the prerogative to do one Howling Wolf song "Forty-Four" in honor of his 100th birthday [ 6/10/1910 ] )
Then ALL the harpcats came up for the Grand Finale / Blowdown which was a song of my choosing: Shake Dancer.

I can honestly report that this was one of the best round robin harp blasts I have ever heard.
I had to hand off my harp mic to Ray, and Kevin did likewise with Chuck.
Only four amps were used, due to stage space considerations:
Jeff had his 1X10 Fender Pro Junior, Kevin had his Fender Red Knob Twin, Lil Jimmy had his LOUD Fender Bassman 4X10, and I brought my 1941 Gibson EH-125 with a single 12" Rola field coil speaker. THREE other players ( Ray, Chuck, and Jeff ) asked to use my rig, because of the authentic tone.
Everyone else used their green bullets or JT-30's. I used my ball mic I modded and customized. Ray liked it and went with my mic, too.

Spent all day Monday resting, HA! Now, I have to work on the next production. Aiming for mid-August when the weather is fine and maybe an outdoor venue.
