Does anyone know if the Hohner chromonica reeds fit the Hering 48 ?
Can only get Hohner spare reeds.
Thanks.

I don't know but I wouldn't have thought so. Well not without redrilling and tapping some screw holes at least.
www.harponline.de may have some Hering plates in stock. Also you could try www.Thomann.de

My best advice then would be to ask on Harp L or Slidemeister.com. Before you start drilling!
Another idea is to replace the individual bad reeds. Is that an option?

Its the individual reeds I'm asking about.
Apologies for the confusion. ----------

Ah I see.
You may find they have different profiles. I believe from the scant information I could find that the Hering reeds are longer and thinner than the Hohner reeds.
Hopefully Joe Spiers or Dave Payne will see this thread and give a better answer. You could always try emailing them directly and asking the question.
