Family and I (Wife and young girls) went to DC for Tourist stuff. On the way to the Metro, we met me new friend Thomas, playing his beat up guitar in the tunnel...this is my video. Hope you like it:

Yeah, was it your first time playing in public?

I've done that, too. I think it's a great way to learn and even overcome stage freight. Just practice on the subway!

i got to do that with a young guy in clarksdale last weekend. he was taught by some of the remaining few real deal delta blues guys and it was a blast. he was amped, i wasn't, so i had to project more than i usually do. it went well, he made a few extra tips hopefully thanks to my harp!

nice job 2hole!

Good stuff.
I get to sit with some fine street people both in the subway as well as on the corners of San Francisco during the week when I'm stuck in the City some 250 miles from home. Several of those folks have quite the groove going on. The biggest drawback I've found is that the truly homeless invariably try to talk you into moving in with you.

Wow...did not expect all the cool support, but many thanks from my rookie-ness. New to the Forum, encouraged to post these by Adam. On the 45 second gig had never played it before, and really don't remember what/how I played it. I just started playing, and Thomas got the groove going and it did whatever it did. Lots o fun, but mostly found myself lost in the groove...not first time in public playing, but pretty close.
